Hi All,
Hopefully by the time you read this, Zeke will be home safe and sound. He broke free while a neighbor was walking him yesterday around lunchtime and he and Zella took off for the woods. Zella returned sometime in the middle of last night, but so far no Zeke. We are especially worried because he still had a leash around his neck when he took off. There is not much but woods out here and we hope he has not entangled himself. Jason, Zella, and Little Pig are out looking as we speak. Just keep him in your thoughts and prayers!

You got it! It's always disturbing when one of the dogs gets lost, but I am sure he'll turn up.
Bird dog to the rescue! Rusty says all he needs is a lock of Zeke's hair and he's on it. Well, that and a ride to Sewanee. Seriously, though, surely he'll turn up soon. He's probably just exploring. Perhaps Zella was dragging him around the woods on a rug and claimed she needed to stop for "gas", and when he got off, she "sped" away. Are you laughing? For those of you who don't know, that's one of Cari's tricks she used to torment me as a child. Really, though, I know you're worried, but try to relax a bit.
Hoping that by now Zeke is safely back at home, but prayers are going up "just in case." These furbabies can cause us lots of worry, can't they? But they also bring us so much happiness along with the stress. (Kinda like two-legged young'uns in that respect!)
