Poor little dog. Brutus bit Rusty Saturday afternoon, and Rusty had to spend the rest of the night at the emergency vet clinic. He didn't enjoy waking from anesthesia at all, but he's feeling a little better now. We have to watch him closely so he doesn't lick his stitches or else he'll have to wear the cone, and he certainly was not a fan of it. He isn't, however, minding sleeping between me and Wesley one bit!

Ohh, poor Rusty! Brutus, you need to sit on the naughty chair for biting your brother, and that is a fact! Hope Rusty is feeling much better and enjoying being pampered. Give him some special hugs from his Aunt Soss.
Poor Rusty-Rust- Little Pig says he can come down there and teach Brutus a lesson if you want. Just let him know!

Thanks to everyone for your well-wishes. Rusty is recovering quite well. His drain tube was taken out on Tuesday, and we'll follow up in a week to have his stitches out. Bobby visited him for some time, and Dad came yesterday to rock him and sing him a lullabye. Wesley separated the dog pen into two sections, so we'll feel better about leaving them alone. Brutus misses Rusty, though. He just cries and cries. I hope Rusty has learned his lesson about antagonizing his brother and Brutus his lesson about biting. Brothers are not for biting.
